Optimism

It's hard to be optimistic when it seems as if the world is falling apart.
  • Financial Systems
  • Outsourcing
  • Disease and Illness

But really, the world is an amazing and wonderful place.

  • Babies being born
  • People helping people
  • The sun coming up every single day.

I love our planet and I love my life. I have no idea what tomorrow (or even today) will bring, but I do know it will be an adventure.

So, it's been a few days since I checked out your blog and I don't really understand how it works but I get that you are posting your thoughts for the world to see. So, I'm going to blog a little on your blog. I love what you said about optimism. The truth is that life is fabulous. Sometimes we have bad times. Sometimes bad things happen, but every day good things happen everywhere. This is what we need focus on. For example, I have the most fantastic family, a man who loves me without condition, a child who brightens the world everyday, friends that will do anything for me and I get to experience it.

Everything will work out. We will all be fine, because we have each other to lean on.

A thought about your campaigner... He/she (sorry I think I missed the detail, was it a she?)was obviously focused on the mission and missed the big picture. If he/she had viewed his/her surroundings your meeting could have gone very differently. I'm picturing a cordial conversation where you both expound on the merits of the candidate of choice. Who knows you could become life-long friends based on this chance encounter.

Next thought, short hair. Of course, I think you are beautiful with or without long hair but I would love to see a frontal view of the new bob. I admire your motivation of donation. I hope Kim is staying optimistic. She is a beautiful girl and also has a fantastic family - oh wait, that's us - to stand by her and give her support. Tell her to stay strong. Life is worth it!
